Observation is intimacy with life.

I am a painter working in oils. Following a career in architecture and a seven-year love affair with sculpting, I found a palette knife in my hand and I haven’t stopped putting paint to board.

The world astonishes me. Whether landscapes, found objects, fellow humans, or the more-than-human world, I am drawn to the beauty and metaphor of the ordinary. Deeply rooted, my work is attuned to the atmosphere, colors, and narratives of this place I call home.
